Worth its weight in gold, even if it seems disgusting.

The nosefrida is probably one of the best purchases we made.

Woof... what a rough night. Baby was congested and couldn’t breath through her nose enough to sleep. We had the saline and the snot sucker going most of the night, pulling out giant slags of boogers.

My Fitbit says I got 2 hours of sleep. I doubt that. Send coffee, please.
Do you have a humidifier running over her crib/bassinet? If not, I suggest it.

Yeah. When she came down with this, we finally broke out the humidifier we got from the baby shower, and have it running full blast in her room. Specifically pointing right at her crib.

Damn sorry to hear this.

We have also used a diffuser with a few drops of eucalyptus oil in her room, but not sure how young you can do that.

Also used to take her in the bathroom and run the shower as hot as it goes, and just steam her out.

I think it's a no on the oils, but yeah. The steam helped. I worked from home this afternoon because the wife is still sick. So who has two thumbs and is the only one that didn't get to nap in this house today? This guy.

I can remember being saved by my recliner in the living room many nights that I wouldn't have slept otherwise. Satisfied my daughter's desire to be held and not horizontal, and let me sleep too.

I'm terrified of falling asleep with her on me in any fashion. I have a recliner in our guest room/my video game room, but I've not given it a go yet.

I was afraid to fall asleep with our first one, but not with number two. I probably spent half of the nights from her birth until she was about three months old sleeping in a recliner with her.

I slept like a baby when she was on my chest. I totally get that fear though. I'm not proud of this, but on one sleep deprived night (very early on so she couldn't move still), I had her on the changing table and changed her, and she fell back asleep there. I sat down to take a breather, and passed out in the rocker in her room.

Fast forward TWO HOURS later, I wake up terrified. Sure enough, she is still sleeping happily on the changing table. She was never in any danger of falling but I was mortified that I fell asleep.

Found out that we’re getting our $250 security deposit back from daycare next week, since it’s her last week. I don’t recall paying any security deposit, but okay.

I can do you one better... I fell asleep on my bed with my daughter on my chest. She fell off to the floor. That was a terrifying few moments making sure she was ok.

How soon were you guys all notified about which teacher your kid would be getting when they first entered kindergarten? My daughter starts next Tuesday, and according to USPS Informed Delivery, it looks like we'll finally find out today which teacher she'll have.

Lane Paul was born yesterday at 5:57am weighing 9 pounds 2 ounces and measuring in at 22 inches. Despite momma bear pushing out that toddler, her and baby are doing just fine. What an incredible feeling!
