Baby Mac is developing a head cold it seems at 2 Mos old. Congested, fussy, wants held.

Any tips for getting through this? No fever (yet). Continuing to suck out his nose every hour or so. He hates it, but we're getting a decent bit out each time.
That's the worst.

Try steaming him out. Sit in the bathroom with the shower as hot as it can get for ten minutes. Other than that, just feed him a ton and hope he passes out.

LOL, yeah, did step 2 already. It is noticeably worse when he gets worked up. Wife's a mess. I keep telling her it'll be alright.

She put on zarbees baby rub.

I think the drip is getting him worse than the congestion.

Yes. Baby Vicks. Just go full blast. Under the nose, on his chest, neck, etc. He will hate it at first but love it later.

They also make plug-in vapo rub devices. I think it helped my daughter when she was congested. Also, since you didn’t mention it, if you don’t have a Nose Frida, get one now and use it.

First swimming class today. Should be a good time. I love that she's no longer a potato (almost 7 months old now). The fact that she's interactive, playing, babbling, crawling, exploring... it's much more fun now than it was when she just laid there.

Yeah, that's what we use for clearing his nose

He slept somewhat decent last night. So that's a plus. Hopefully he's getting over it today.

I'm at one of these bowl and bounce places (the one in Lake Wylie, Charlotte 5AF'ers) and what an insane waste of money these places are.

Thankfully I'm at a birthday party.

It was a lot of fun, but they requested that next week only one parent get in the pool with the child since it's such a big class. First off, the pool wasn't all that crowded, and secondly, if that's the case, cap the class at less children. Seems goofy to not let both parents be in the pool with their kid.

I was there about a month ago. Put up an insane laser tag score. Granted I was shooting 4 and 5 year olds, but I was merking them

That equates to like 37 cents, right?

Yep. They do this at our swim class facility, too. For solo lessons, each teacher is capped at 4 students.
