My wife's exclusively pumping, also due to the cleft palate.

Speaking of, I have seen nursing pods both at my old job, as well as in photos of offices at my new place. My wife would have killed for access to something like that when she was pumping back in the day.

We had those in the Marine Corps. They were called 'that empty office over there.'

Empty offices? Look at this guy living the life. No such thing where my wife worked on site. She had to use a common area bathroom that routinely had **** smeared on the wall. I am not exaggerating.

Yeah, after I hit submit I was thinking "I bet she had to use the bathroom to bottle the stuff she is going to feed her newborn" and felt bad.

Yeah mine has to reserve the only conference room without windows 2x a day. Lol. It was almost a lawsuit until they gave her accommodation.Speaking of, I have seen nursing pods both at my old job, as well as in photos of offices at my new place. Was your wife pre (the breastfeeding) law? It says they have to provide somewhere that isn't a bathroom.

I just looked up the law, and it was in place in 2010, so before our daughter was born. Honestly, I had no idea this law even existed before your post.Yeah mine has to reserve the only conference room without windows 2x a day. Lol. My wife worked in a hospital so got creative with where she pumped. Her problem was she was competing with 4-5 other moms for pumping time. She used the bathroom several times.

Greetings from my son's middle school basketball game. I paid $6 plus $1.36 conveniently fee (tickets are only available online) for general admission seats.
Meanwhile, my employer's football team plays in a conference championship game Saturday, where GA tickets are $10.
It's a scam y'all.

Yeah, it's for his middle school, so no fees. We do have to buy the team a pregame meal ($100 in subs, chips) and team snacks ($50).

For soccer we have a fee of $125 a season payable to the boosters (appropriately called the MFR - minimum fundraising requirement). Plus $5 a game but if you get there during the JV you get in free.

Lil macs favorite sport right now is hockey, no doubt. He's doing learn to skate and getting pretty good after just turning 4. My dad's paying for the lessons, but part of me hopes he prefers basketball.Pfft. You dont have kids in hockey. I don’t want to hear it

6 doctors later, I finally got someone competent enough to find the tongue tie I knew my kid had. It shouldn't take that much effort.

Better late than never. I assume you're sticking with that doctor? We switched pediatricians after a physical therapist pointed out an issue with our daughter while she was visiting another kid at her daycare. An issue that our old pediatrician missed, and the new one saw immediately - including another issues diagnosed on the spot. Arguably saved my daughter from possibly having hip surgery in her teens or later.6 doctors later, I finally got someone competent enough to find the tongue tie I knew my kid had. Some tongue tie experts are dentists, which is who I finally saw that recognized the tongue tie. So unfortunately cannot use them as a pediatrician, but I will continue the search for a new one who isn't dismissive. I've gotten enough of that myself over the years for my own medical things and I don't want mini-obhave to go through the same.Better late than never. I assume you're sticking with that doctor? Picked lil mac up from daycare today. He comes out in a spare outfit and no shoes. I'm like, wtf? Teacher tells me "yeah so he decided to turn the playground into a slip and slide"... Im dumbfounded. What? I get his clothes. Shoes. Caked in mud lol. I can't even think of what to say. Was he unsupervised for that long? He had to have made at least 5 passes down this muddy slip and slide lol. Anyway. Happy Friday

Yup. I remember a daycare teacher apologizing profusely because my daughter and some other kid thought it was fun to pour sand on each others heads. I just laughed and said “guess we’ll wash her hair extra tonight.” Apparently that wasn’t the response they expected. I guess the other parent freaked out about them not being supervised enough.

On the other end of this spectrum, my eldest child drove himself to school to take the SAT this morning. Like where has the time gone?
