I remember paying for my brothers high school basketball playoff games, but that's about it.

Our school district charges for varsity events but I don't think anything below that. I also saw they now have a season pass for all varsity events for like $50. If you went to all football games and a few soccer or basketball games it was worth it.

Well it took almost 9 years of having children for mrs meow and I to get caught in a hanky panky session. We made the kid’s lunch and threw a movie on before slipping away for some afternoon delight. baby meow shows up 5 minutes later asking for more strawberries. She used a metal toy spatula to jimmy the lock open on our master bedroom door and snuck in like a tiny ninja.

“Mom and dad are having some alone time. You can eat all the strawberries you want. Close the door behind you.”

It hasn’t come up in the last few hours, but this kid has the memory of an elephant so I’m sure this is seared in there for life.

Lol.

In other news, daughter caught another cold. Literally had one week between her last one and this one. Thankfully, she has half days at school M-W.

That's pretty all-pro going for it during the day with the kids awake

I can still coerce my 5 yr old into a nap every now and again but once that goes afternoon play might go with it

@meow we had a kid that liked to join us in the middle of the night or wake us up super early on weekends, so we put one of those childproof plastic doorknobs on our door. Solved the unwanted guest problem directly.

Yeah. They are 8 and 5. Might be a little past that type of response. Then it seems like we are making a big deal about it, you know?

Also, if baby meow Macgyvered into a locked room with a toy spatula, then probably the child doorknob would not be much of a challenge.

Not much. We heard the door knob click and scrambled real quick. Not like I was blowing her back out yet

My wife made a long list of stuff she wanted to do this week while she was off. Mac decided to write in each day something naughty to do with her while I was working from home.

Poppa Mac decided he would read the list Friday night while he was sitting at the table. Thanks pops

At least it wasn't her dad.
