OK it's a $6 buyout option. So obviously I'm taking that. I still have no idea what they're going to give them though.

What in the world kind of backwater day cares have these sorts of policies? Our daughter gets breakfast, lunch, and two snacks...you sign up at the beginning of every year, it is some tie-in with a charity that provides meals or something to a bunch of day cares (we do not send her to a religious one). Like it's weird, it's not assistance, it's just the meal policy they have in place. I'm not terribly familiar though.

We send food for our kid but again he's only almost 10mos. He eats like 4 bottles and a pouch if Aldi puree.

Turns out there was another kid with the same name, no last initial, on the snack calendar that was sent home.

I’m creeping into peak dad status here, boys.
“Shut the door. I’m not cooling the neighborhood”
“In or out. No more of this back and forth stuff. In or out”
Both phrases have been used in the last 60 minutes

I'm more amazed at the things that come out of my mouth, such as:
don't lick the toilet
don't hit your brother with a thorn bush
why did you put your teddy bear in the freezer
the laundry basket is not a sled for sliding down the stairs
I am raising Calvins

Car seat recommendations to replace the infant carrier one?
Graco extend2fit is what I'm reading, but Sam's club also has a model for a lot less money.

Britax ClickTight. The fact that I agree with nobody on this should tell you enough. As for multiple vehicles, with most it's not worth it. However, you may have an easier time with the Britax given how quickly you can secure the car seat.

I guess we have a primary vehicle and my vehicle. I take him to daycare 1 day a week. So I was thinking of two Seats, just maybe one that's nicer/better (maybe new vs used even) than the other.

That's what we do. I have the Britax in my car, but we have an Evenflo SecureKid (which we also like) in my wife's SUV. It's not worth the hassle of swapping the seat back and forth when the Evenflo is like $80.

We got a couple extend2fits for our cars. They were on sale for cheap and my MIL offered to buy them for us. By all means, grandma, buy them.

Whatever you get, make sure that it goes to the highest weight possible so that you don't wind up having to replace it again. Not all convertible car seats go to 65 lbs.

Me: I don't know...?
Daughter: UGH, why don't you know how to match? I'M TELLING MOMMY TONIGHT.
