The doc congratulated us on getting to "full term" and said baby will be coming into the world any day within the next month... the waiting game is going to drive my wife nuts as she's already done with being pregnant. Last few weeks of not being a dad, better drink up!
And then drink more once the baby shows up.

If your wife is ok with the possibility of not having enough time to apply an epidural, I would suggest laboring at home as long as possible. You go too early and it’s either an annoying waiting game or they send you home after cramming their hands in presumably uncomfortable places.

My wife and I went to the hospital after timing the contractions, and they sent us home. On the way home (after driving 30 minutes), we stopped for lunch. As we were walking in, her water promptly broke. Thankfully, I had an old blanket in the back that the dog normally lays on, so I just had her sit on that.

Mrs shmenguin was contracting every 3 minutes and they were big. We got to the hospital and she was almost fully dilated.

Now...she is small and my kids are giant, so the rest of the labor wasn’t so great. But we did our part to time it perfectly anyways.

5-1-1 is the "go time" they told us to wait for. Contractions are 5 minutes apart, last 1 minute, and are consistent over an hour stretch. That's probably when we'll call, hop in the car, hit up Wendy's drive through, then head to the hospital.

All me kids were born the day after weddings. We like to dance and it helps get them buggers out.

Apparently Eddy is celebrating St. Patty's Day a bit early.

mrs meow had two labors at opposite ends of the spectrum. Number one was a sob. She labored at home for about 12 hours, then at the hospital for about 12 more. Almost needed an emergency c-section. Number two was as smooth as possible. Water broke at 7 pm and baby showed up about 12 hours later with no bumps along the way

If he is getting a baconator, it is acceptable.

#1 was normal, #2 was fast (I helped the nurse), #3 was a sob (he got stuck, because he was huge), and #4 was a scheduled c-section.

Freddy’s trying to run the gamut by having a kid for every scenario possible.

They told you the kid can't eat normal food until at least the 3rd day, right?

If you have any Babies 'r Us gift cards or store credit, the Cranberry location won't accept them after Tuesday. I don't know about online or other locations.

That’s pretty quick. The company just said the other day that all gift cards would be honored for the next 30 days, so I wonder why that location is different.

I would never in 1000 years think of buying this at full price, but it's worth every penny. I call it the Baby Keurig. It's worth it's weight in gold at 2 in the morning.

If you've ever cleaned out a Keurig that sat for a few weeks, you'd never make anything meant for your child with a device like that.
