I wonder how much my sperm would go for on the open market... tall, well educated, healthy, blue/green eyes... I should look into this.

Aren't vasectomies easily reversible?
No. Their success rate is like 30% and insurances do not cover it

It may also be actual surgery and not an in and out procedure. I wonder if the quality of the doctor is more important than anything in determining success rate.

Who reads their kids the Elephant and Piggie series? Gotta say these are probably my favorite kids' characters.

I've read it to the kids many times. it is very difficult to get through that page and not speak in a sinister tone.

the book also has a line, "it let's you give your dog a ride". it's no, "do you like it in the face", but it's a funny and weird sentence that i enjoy sharing with my family.

I was glad that the Pete the Cat era was over, but then my daughter discovered Groovy Joe. Of course it’s written by the same author.

My son wants the Robo-Pete one at bed time tonight. F that. It’s awful. The illustrator can’t write, but thinks he can. There are Pete the Cat books that are good but they’re written by a different guy.

The only Pete the Cat book I can remember is the one where everybody tells him how to dress. Very dumb book.

 And that's the one we read the most, with the beach/surfing one a close second. My daughter has actually been asking my wife to read her my Die Hard Christmas book:

My sister got my daughter the Star Wars 5 minute stories book. It's very cool, but I realized last night that she's probably too young to stay engaged, even with me doing the voices.

Not that I have ever smoked but I suspect that some good reefer would make Pete the cat way more entertaining.

Especially the one where his shoes keep changing color. Wow, man.

I was one line off from a perfect recital of Fox in Sox the other week. It was devastating. So close.

Fox in Socks is my daughter’s new favorite. She’ll wind up with the entire Dr. Seuss collection in a year or so.
