I always thought corning was lame, but I do actually miss that sound of corn hitting metal siding.
Yes, that was great. Between that and soap and eggs or whatever else people would do, at least corn wasnnt destructive like the other things

Went Corning with cousins from Hermitage many years ago.

It was...corny.

TP was where it was at.

Probably get shot doing something like that these days. I never went out for stuff like that, but did basically sit on the porch every year after somebody dumped a gallon of chocolate pudding on my mom’s car.

I never did the pretending Santa thing with the kids. Hard to pretend on Santa who does magic, etc... and then talk about a God-man being raised from the dead.

We had to tell my daughter that the tooth fairy can run at supersonic speed a few weeks back after my daughter found the dollar bill my wife slipped under her pillow as she put her book away.

Someone went around and put red balloons on our storm drains last night. Pretty awesome, if only a year too late.

That's awesome. Would be even more awesome if they put a Pennywise (the original) mask or something just inside of the drain.

Wife's due date came and went yesterday. I'm for this baby coming whenever he wants, my wife? Not so much, she's feeling pretty trapped in her own body right now lol.

Yeah, she wants it over with at this point. Pregnant through the summer is pretty terrible, from my wife's experience with our youngest.

She was good until she hit month 8 in September and it was still pushing 90 degrees and high humidity. Then October was still in 80s at the start and she really stopped having fun lol.

Our oldest didn't want to come out. Mrs. F had to have an emergency C Section 2 weeks after due date when he ran out of fluid in there. The other 2 were then scheduled C Sections, there would be no more of that waiting around nonsense.

It's nice because we're relaxing at home for the first time in forever, but after two weeks, it starts to feel like we're sort of prisoners as we're worried about getting too far away from the hospital.

My son had his one year old check up yesterday.

34 inches tall and 32lbs. He could very well be 39-40 inches tall at two ...

The doubling height at 2 years old thing was spot on for me. My mom gave me all my medical records as a kid. I was 3 ft 2.5 inches and I'm currently 6 ft 5 inches.

Baby Mac is developing a head cold it seems at 2 Mos old. Congested, fussy, wants held.

Any tips for getting through this? No fever (yet). Continuing to suck out his nose every hour or so. He hates it, but we're getting a decent bit out each time.

Holy sht.... I just saw this post. That is massive. Our daughter is 51 lb at 5, and she is taller than most kids her age.
