I would love nothing more than to tell you it'll be fine and you'll be fine and everything will be fine, but first off: that's not the case... it's hectic, it's crazy, things go off the rails, etc. and secondly: would it even help if I told you it'd be fine? My guess is no.

But you're strong. You'll get through it.

Sending a virtual pat on the back...you will be fine! Honestly, once the moment actually gets here, you will be amazed at how you just go into parent mode. It's biology!!

I had to laugh during one of the birth classes where they were trying to encourage the partner to give words of encouragement and some birth motto ****. I told my husband that would not go over well with me as it all sounded so patronizing and empty. It also sounded a little like the way we talk to our dog and I'm sure that is what I would register in the moment

When our first was born, the doctor was not there when my wife suddenly went straight into full labor. The nurse was barking instructions to me, starting with holding my wife's one leg back.

She suddenly goes "NOT THAT FAR, YOU'RE GOING TO BREAK HER HIP!!"

I was pulling her leg back like a Pez dispenser in my panic.

Since then he's been permanently banned from Twitter until he deletes a post about Elliot Page (he refused to call him Elliot and called him Ellen). He said "I would rather die than delete the post". He then screen shot it, deleted it, got unbanned, posted the screen shot, got banned again and was confused as to why he was banned again.

He's also joined Ben Shapiro's network at some point in the last year or so... that's about all you really need to know.
