Sounds like ice pops should be in her future.

April 6 is turning out to not be a good day in the c2i household. 2 years ago my wife got sent to the hospital because her blood pressure spiked and we thought we were going to have to either get induced or other methods of getting the kid out. Last year we have a couple trips to the ER (one via ambulance) for a kid that has pneumonia, and this year my little one was helping me cook and decided to grab a hot pan. 2nd degree burns on her thumb and index finger.

Next year I’m just wrapping her in bubble wrap and making her sit in her room all day.
I’m very glad your daughter is ok. One positive, the odds of her grabbing a hot pan again went down dramatically.

My kid tumbled sideways off the arm of our couch today during work. The rest of the day he walked around yelling SIT! DOWN! but sadly he still doesn't heed his own advice.

We have a bedtime routine for our two boys that involve reading books, singing a couple songs, saying your favorite memory of the day, praying together and snuggling. We've added a new one: show everybody your new boo-boos from the day.

I don't know how I survived childhood with two brothers. Or my parents for that matter.

My kid seemed taller again so I measured him, since I have nothing better to do right now. He is now 43 inches tall at 2.5 years old.

My son went in for his 4 year checkup in February. Measured 42.5 inches tall and 42.5 pounds. He was above 90th percentile for both. You are raising Andre the Giant

Just turned my kiddo's car seats to forward facing... crazy how fast time if flying with her.

42.5 pounds @ 4 years old is above 90th percentile? Shnikeys... my kid is 30 pounds at 2 years old.

This was a great day for us. Car trips are so much better with her facing forward.

We were talking about maybe going for a drive this afternoon/evening just to see how she likes it.

This is top-5 moment changers with kids. The other four - in no particular order - are:
feeding themselves
buckling themselves in the car completely
getting a simple snack themselves
potty trained

Their weight gains start to slow down around 2 when they are more active. Unless they are a nobody, apparently

First time we put our oldest forward facing, he kept saying "wheeeeee!" the entire ride. He didn't know such a world existed.

He is huge, but it definitely isn’t unexpected. I’m 6’ 5” and my wife is 6’.

I'm 6'5", my wife is 5'7"ish. We have our 2 year wellness check next week with the little one. Apparently if you double the kid's height at 2 that'll give you a good approximation on height. I'm guessing she'll end up being 5'8"-6'0".

Ours was around 40-41 inches tall at two. So I guess somewhere between 6’ 7” - 6’ 9”. Haha

My sister sent lil mac a craft kit for easter to make his own super hero cape. A cape with some stick on felt. the kid is terrified to actually put the cape on around his neck... lol

Kids are weird man.
