Well, my daughter starts kindergarten tomorrow, and it really didn’t hit me until today. My stomach’s been in knots all day.

Good luck man. Hope it goes well. That's coming up in one year for me :(

My child started doing the full gut chuckle. Oh. My. God. There is nothing cuter in this world than that. I can't wait until she gets to the point where she's just doing it at random sh*t.

Kindergarten day one done, and my daughter had a blast taking the bus for the first time, and seems to love her new school. That was a huge relief for my wife and I.

My daughter let us know that the tooth fairy had come last night.

At 3am.

I think the tooth fairy will be changing her schedule to school hours in the future.

We're two weeks in and
CBear4: Is it a stay home day?
CBear3: No, son, but only two more school days left this week and then we get two stay home days!
:CBear4 whimpers for 30 minutes straight as he gets ready.:

Little one has a yeast infection on her bottom and in her mouth. :(

Lotrimin and diaper ointment have been battling the one on her bottom, but there's not much we can do OTC for her mouth. Went to the Dr. this morning and they prescribed some sort of cream that my wife has to rub on while she feeds her. Fun times.

One of the kids at our bus stop is like that. His mom has to basically pull him off of her, and another neighborhood kid has to walk him onto the bus in order for him to get going.

Diaper rashes and such are not fun.

Source of the post Lotrimin and diaper ointment have been battling the one on her bottom
Which diaper ointment? We tried a few brands, and Target's Up & Up maximum strength diaper rash cream was superior to all others, even for cases where the skin is beet red. I still swear by that stuff.

We use Boudreaux butt paste, as long as it isn’t a yeast infection. Works great for us.

I'm not sure what it is exactly. We typically use aquaphor and/or butt paste. This stuff was recommended by the nurses when we called in about the yeast infection... I think it just says "A&D ointment". Like I said, it's starting to clear it up, so it's definitely working.

We use a&d in the rare event of a diaper rash. I’m not sure what we do that is different from others, but mini-meow only had like two bouts of diaper rash and baby-meow has not had any.

Wife sent 31 lbs worth of care package to the oldest yesterday. Assume it is because she feels bad for not letting him come home for labor day.

My daughter's two best friends are spending the night. There are four girls between 10-12 in my house. I'm going to go sleep in my car...

Sounds terrible. If only there was a fellow message board poster that you lived close to that you could take refuge at their house.

A&D is the sht. The butt paste works well but it is messy as hell and stinks.
