Best of luck for a safe delivery! Bring lots of snacks because inductions can take a bit sometimes. It was 36 hours for me from arriving to the hospital to delivery.
Yikes. Hopefully it doesn't take that long but I'll take it into consideration. Did you get food delivered at some point? Don't think I could eat only snacks for that long.
My husband left to get food so he could get out his nervous energy. The snacks were for me. They may tell her not to eat, but honestly her body will tell her when she no longer wants to have food. As long as she us up to eating she should! I ate on day 1 but day 2 I could not longer stomach it.

The induction time depends on how far along your wife is. The process can take 3-5 days for some people! I read a book for most of day 1, bring entertainment in case she needs a bit more help to get going into labor.

Haha, don't think the wife would go for that. It would be funny to play the glass breaking sound effect once she is born.
Listen, now you have to have the music queued up, regardless of what you name her, because this would be outstanding.

3/15 is better. Not just because it’s my birthday, but mostly because it’s my birthday.

My wife’s grandfather was an immigrant from Serbia (Yugoslavia at the time, but still…). When he got here they asked for a birthday. He didn’t know his birthday. Knew it was spring-ish. 3 was his favorite number so he went with 3/3/33

I remember baby's first cold. We had a suction thing to suck out his nose. So gross and hard to clean.

Good luck and stay hydrated!

Have the Nose Frida on hand. I think it was one of the suggestions from the dad's here before

We finally had a splash landing with number 2 last night. I'm excited to be a one kid needing diapers house.

You know. We never used pull ups and never had a kid wet the bed. Never really thought of that before

That was another thing: how quickly colds and viruses pass through little kids, compared to adults. They would be sick for 24 hours, I would get the same thing and feel like **** for 3 days and then irritating cough for another 2-3 weeks. My teenagers are starting to get this way - but it was a good run.

Yeah kids are resilient. My kids will get a cold/fever and may be miserable for a day. Next day they are running around the house with snot flying out of their nose while I'm downing Advil like it's candy.

What was crazy was having tubes put in and adenoids trimmed, which required anesthesia. They would be groggy when we left the hospital midmorning, but running around like normal by early afternoon. It happened the three times my kids had that surgery (one kid had it twice).

Yup, same here. I remember six hours before our daughter was taken by ambulance to Dupont for RSV, she was running around happy as can be. Crazy resilient.
