Daughter spent half the night coughing, so I'm essentially a zombie this morning. It's too early for colds to start, so I'm pounding Emergen-C now.

We've entered the hitting phase. Every little thing causes mini c2i to start slapping us. I imagine it's just a phase, anyways... we'll see.

She's only got two teeth so far... (16 1/2 months old). So no.

Recommendations for cabinet locks please?

I'd like something that isn't super visible, if possible. And I have white cabinets.

If you want something not visible from the outside, your options are limited to something like this. I used a similar lock on my cabinets, and they worked out perfectly.

We use these

Kiscords Baby Safety Cabinet Locks for Knobs Child Safety Cabinet Latches for Home Safety Strap for Baby Proofing Cabinets Kitchen Door RV No Drill No Screw No Adhesive / 5 Pack (White) (White)

Only because our cabinet handles don’t attach to the doors at the top or bottom so it’s a super quick slip on and off

Yep, you pull the cabinet door open slightly, then press down on the top to lower the hook end past the plastic fence. I screwed mine into the cabinet doors and frame, not wanting to risk the tape failing.

Yeah, I'd rather not have something visible if there's an adequate invisible option.

These are for lower cabinets, correct?

I've never used them, but I thought about going this route, too:

Yes, lower cabinets. I saw those as well. I'd lose the key  I'll probably just go your route.

Why do you want them to not be visible? People know you have a kid. We use plastic chain toys as cabinet locks and they work great.

They do a version of rock, paper, scissors at taekwondo where the winner takes a rubber sword and whacks the loser in a blocking pad held over their head. My daughter just went through the entire lot of them and I was pretty sure that if it hadn’t lasted one more round she’d have gotten into trouble. The kids all seem to enjoy being smacked with swords.

Is the children's museum worth it for an almost 1 year old who can't yet walk? My wife wants to do something next weekend with the lil guy for his birthday. It looks as if they have a toddler/nursery floor so i presume yes.

I would think even with a toddler/nursery floor he would still be a little young. If you guys want to go, go for it, but I'd be more inclined to take him somewhere like the zoo.

At that age, it's more for your wife than it is for your kid.

We've had season passes the past couple years at the Children's museum. There are areas where it's basically just a toy room, but also fun for 5-6 year olds. If he's into water, the third floor is a splash area. Just be aware there will be older kids running around not paying attention to your rugrat.

Had a great orientation day at my daughter's Kindergarten this morning. I'll be making sure I am home for her to get on and off the bus tomorrow. And then our son arriving in less than six weeks

I can't imagine getting a kid through the daycare phase, into "real" school, and then BAM, back to start. Best of luck shadrick.
