I'm hoping for Sidney, so SDD can now stand for Sidney's Drunk Dad.

Thanks all. @CBear3 We almost went with Sophie as her first name but decided on Gwendolyn Sofia.

Nice! That's a very eloquent name, I love it...although I hope they've started grading on a curve when it comes to writing your name in Kindergarten. My full name is 30 letters and I always complained that my best friend's is 6.

Lil mac finally got to suit up tonight and get some stick time on the ice after having skating only lessons for the last 2-3 months. Dude was stoked and had a wonderful time. I need to work with him on pushing and gliding though. He still has the March only movement with the feet. Any tips on this? I definitely felt like him having a stick in his hands helped with his posture, forced him to lean on the stick.

Frame it like he is pushing on a scooter. Literally one leg at a time. Have him push with his left leg only like 10 straight times. Then his right leg. That way, it’s kind of a game. Kids love this drill

My kid eventually grew out of the chop step skating approach. Just suddenly decided it wasn't the way to go.
