My son/youngest is now potty trained. Which means I'm done changing diapers forever, motherf***ers.
What a feeling. And only a couple more years until they can both wake up, get a snack and put on TV without bothering me. I'm so close to living the dream.

On Saturday mornings, I set out the remote for my daughter (she'll be 4 in a month) and a snack in a Ziploc bag...it buys us an extra 30-45 minutes. Lovely. The TV is in the adjacent room. And only a couple more years until they can both wake up, get a snack and put on TV without bothering me.

Are second kids always, like, a million times easier than first kids?

No. The rule is you get one good one and one challenging one. Usually the latter is a boy. Sequence doesn't factor in.Are second kids always, like, a million times easier than first kids?

I agree. My oldest two are girls, separated by two years. Not much of an issue with them except around 18 months old. They are in grade school and pretty independent, listen good, etc. My third is a boy and he is a 3 year old. He makes my wife and I pull our hair out at least two times a day. Couldn't get him in preschool, potty training issues, listening issues, etc. Our fourth kid is ten months old and she is so happy. Acts like my other daughters at this age so that's good.No. The rule is you get one good one and one challenging one. Usually the latter is a boy. I asked my mom is I was like this at three years old. Her response: "I can't remember" Thanks Mom.

This rings 100% true in my household.No. The rule is you get one good one and one challenging one. Usually the latter is a boy. Sequence doesn't factor in.Are second kids always, like, a million times easier than first kids?
Example from yesterday: older boy takes car with automatically spinning wheels and places it in the hair of the younger boy. That wasn't even the worst thing from the week.
