We had two boys first so when the girl came, we knew we had protectors. They're toughening her up pretty good so far.
Dude it's crazy... my girl is just 9 months but seems so much older and tougher from just hanging out with them all day.
Tell you what man, having a girl after 2 boys...she is 100% a daddy's girl. If it wasn't for her tantrums and ear piercing screams, she'd get away with everything. She's 3 now, and sometimes I can't take some of the things she says, warms the heart.

Then underneath it all is the toughness she gets from her brothers. The two boys spent 3 hours outside wrestling in the grass yesterday. This is a daily thing, like dogs that seem like they are trying to kill each other, but are really have a good time and just playing. Then my daughter comes out, and like getting tapped into the ring, jumps right on the pile.

Congrats! Settle yourself in, put your feet up, and do nothing for a couple days. It helps.

Haha... to be fair, my daughter had a birthday party three days after my procedure and I didn't go anywhere close to that damn thing. My wife took her. I figured 2.5 weeks out, I'd be good. Didn't expect there to be a nut puncher there.

My kids drop stuff in the middle of my lap all the time. I think I naturally block myself when standing.

Thought I was the only one. I think I have an iPad imprint on one nut and a TV remote on the other

My kid knees me in the nuts constantly when I read him books at night. He likes to get out of the chair when he sits on my lap, then gets in knee first right at the crotch. I've had to actually grab his knee first and help him up because he's done it so much.

Boys will eventually understand and figure it out once they get teabagged. Girls will never get it

Once they grow out of that, it’ll be stepping on your toes constantly. I have to wash a pair of shoes once a week because it has smeared in dirt on the toes from a kid stomping on them

Something fun to do on Monday with a waddler and 4 year old that is preferably outside and not the zoo?

Science center have much outside? Childrens museum? Aviary is an option I guess, but I'd rather do the zoo at that.

My oldest got a real life full time job! I couldn't be happier for him. He will be working at a small college in upstate NY doing IT, remote 4 days/onsite 1 day a week. Got it just in time to stay in the Rochester area and not move home.

Really proud of him.

But also it will be good to have him off the payroll.

Children’s museum is pretty much all inside. My son had a great time there when he was 3. Looked like some stuff for younger kids too

Actually minus some pain around one of the incisions, it has been pretty smooth.

I’m 4 weeks in and I just snipped my stitches and pulled em out. I feel soooooo much better.

That's interesting... I'm pretty sure I had dissolvable stitches. I definitely would have remembered them coming out.

I've only gotten to pull stitches out at home once and it is indeed a great feeling.

Mine were supposed to be dissolvable, but they didn’t dissolve. They kept getting snagged on my underwear and just were so uncomfortable. The snip and pull was heavenly.
