Found out today that one of the parents at the bus stop is the person I always see driving the wrong way down a one way street. Also found out that she’s annoying as **** to listen to.

Not that her voice is annoying, just that she likes to talk loud so that everyone hears her.

We used newborn for about 8 days. I wouldn’t waste money on them.

If you go the Target route, make sure you have/use the Target app for Cartwheel. Diapers were almost always on sale when we were buying them, and once you start, you'll occasionally receive coupons for the stuff you purchase the most.

We attempted a size one diaper on him and it was huge. 17 days in, and he probably has another week or so in them, at least. I'm not gonna buy a ton of them.

Pampers

Next question
Yup. Hugs diapers suck in my experience. Never tried Target brand but I have heard good things.

Also agree, whatever you do DO NOT buy too many of the smaller diapers!!! No matter what happens you are going to have an excess of each size, but always err on the side of larger.

If you are looking for a true cost saver, you could try cloth diapers ;)

For our daughter's birth, we got a very nice Honest Company gift pack from @Juice. It was very nice stuff but no way were we paying that long-term.

I have an immediate questionable opinion of people that use cloth diapers. I know there are plenty of people that do it...but...eh. Unless there is a 100% valid reason to do it, I don't get it. And no, saving the environment doesn't count.

These people (well the mother) is a strong willed woman who does stuff her way. I'm not gonna bash her for it, but I don't quite see a point either.

I only know one other person who uses cloth diapers, and they are batshit crazy, which is precisely how I assume other cloth diaper people are.

People hate on Huggies, but we're a Huggies family. They have the poop flap in the back to help prevent blowouts, and they wings on the front have little velcro spots that help keep everything in place. That said, we got a sh*tload of pampers at the baby shower, and we use them as well.

Pampers are hands down the best. They are the only brand that hit the two needs of diapers.

1. Keep **** in
2. Keep stink in

Huggies stink
Up and up leak
Loves stink before you even put them on the kid
Cloth diapers are for people still actively on the Oregon Trail
Markers Mark or whatever the hell Walmart’s brand is should have their inventors tried for war crimes

I'm relieved everyone is anti cloth. Barring there being no other financial option, it's generally restricted to SUPER MOMMIES that probably have a blog too
