lol, nice.
My 2.5 year old pretty much nailed potty training. She's been rocking it. We started in earnest this past weekend, and thus far she's had 1 accident all week at daycare (she hadn't learned #2 yet, and that's what the accident was).
Also just finished up her 2.5 year old wellness check. 94th percentile for height and 82nd percentile for weight. My baby is gonna be a bruiser. Shouldn't surprise me though. I'm 99th percentile for men's height. Also, when she got her flu shot, she didn't cry. She pointed her finger at the nurse and said "NO!"

Our daughter, who turns 7 on the 30th, is pushing 4'6", which is insane to me. She towers over others in her age range and is as tall as her 3rd grade friends. I haven't a clue where she gets it from. Not her 5'10" dad, that's for sure.

Wow shaf, she’s taller than my son who’s only a couple weeks younger. And I’m 6’4”, so my kids will be tall
My 4 year old is mid to upper 90 percentiles In height and weight. Almost as tall as his brother already

Got to see an umpire get punched by a coach. That was fun.

Goes back to our previous discussion: some parents take that sh*t wayyyyy too seriously. At least the ump was an adult? I remember reffing U-10 AYSO when I was a young teen and some dad wanted to fight me after the game was over.

His team lost to my son's team for the season ending tourney.
Rode the umpire for the whole game.
They lost 11-3. From what I could hear he was blaming the umps bad umpiring (lulz 7 year old baseball) for why they got beat so bad.

I think I mentioned this before here but I referred high school for a couple years in the Pittsburgh area when we lived up there.Goes back to our previous discussion: some parents take that sh*t wayyyyy too seriously. I gave a kid a straight red for an elbow to the face during a contested header.
His dad confronted me in the parking lot and questioned my parentage and my cognitive skills (which obviously aren't much). He also sent a letter to the State (never figured out why) and WPIAL accusing me of being bought off.

I would welcome a parent attempting to punch me after a game. Bring it on. Cuz you'll lose in the parking lot and then you'll lose in court too given that it can be a felony to do that in the state of Florida.

Our daycare is closing tomorrow because the owner/operator and her daughter (a teacher) tested positive Monday. I guess the daughter is a student at Carlow?
If what she's telling us is true, there's little to worry about. She was last there Monday for a "few hours" and the place is sanitized sprayed every night. I would feel a lot better if she told us that ALL the staff would go get tested, at least the ones in contact with them. But I trust that they will if they feel they were in contact long enough.

My boys are both in the 90% for height...and I am not. I bet the older of the two will be taller than me when he gets to 7th grade.
On weight let's just say my oldest will play wide receiver and the younger will play fullback. Of course the younger is the spitting image of my father-in-law in every way.
I'm pretty sure at least one of my daughters will be taller than me as well.

My 11 year and nine year old daughters are polar opposites. The 11 year old is 5'1, I am 6'0 and my wife is 5'10. She will probably be as tall or taller than us by the time she is done growing. She has always been in the 90th percentile. My nine year old is 4' and 52 lbs and has always been in the 20th percentile. Our six year old son is quickly catching up to her. She says she doesn't mind being small, she likes being the flyer for cheerleading and easier to do some gymnastic moves.

Excited to say that on Saturday my little dude came out safe and sound... he's a slab at just over 9 pounds!
Prince Colby is one proud big brother and has done pretty well with him so far in the 24 hrs or so that we have been home.
I guess since we already have a Prince, this one is Duke Colby.

Congrats!
How different was your experience pre-COVID and now? Just kind of curious.

No visitors was awesome. Allowed us to actually relax and focus on ourselves and our son. Less of a whirlwind and much quieter/calmer. 100% would recommend.
Other than that, honestly not much was different. I really think it depends on the hospital. They were much more willing to discharge right at the 24 hour mark of life, which we happily accepted. That also means they got things moving with all the boxes that needed to be checked before getting out. I just had to deal with some stricter credentialing to get in and out of the building and maternity ward. We tried to put masks on any time someone came in. Wife took hers off right about push time and really never put it back on though.
The only thing that stunk was not being able to have my older son come to the hospital but we forgot all about it after his reaction when he came home.
