Ugh, Morton hurt. Bullpen game in Game 1 of a World Series is a bad scenario. Can't afford to lose him, only two other legit starters.

Yeah, I was checking the score after the Pens game. 3rd inning at 9:40 or something last night. Not great for the future generation of ball players.

Well there's part of your problem, or about 5-6% of it.
Some factors inherent to the postseason necessarily increase game length: Commercial breaks are 50 seconds longer in the postseason than the regular season, which adds about 14 minutes to a game

The official game times seem lower than actual. Is this because the broadcast starts at 8 and first pitch is way later?
