I had the problem solved. Not sure why we're still talking about it.
Pitcher has to cover the plate? No collisions.
I can get behind that, I could always bunt the ball three feet so I might have a career after all.

I forgot about bunting... Ban it, it's stupid. If you don't hit the ball past the mound, you are automatically out for sucking at your job.

What? Ban bunting? This is an even a worst take.

Had no idea people were this passionate about baseball. Clearly a boomer thing I guess.

Sorry, I'm not a boomer.

No bunting, no catcher, no steals. Getting closer and closer to homerun derby.

The twins set a record for home runs in a season. If news came out that they were stealing signs by whatever means, would anyone be surprised?
Hey, leave my team alone. Let us take our annual playoff sweep in peace.
“Annual” might be a stretch for how often you make the playoffs :slug:

Sounds like something a boomer would say.

When your team has lost as many playoff games in a row as my team has, annual would refer to every time they make the playoffs and not annual in the every calendar sense.

Hall of Famers announced tomorrow. Who ya got?

My ballot would be Bonds, Clemens, Jeter, Manny, Schilling. Guys who should probably make it based on who has been voted in recently: Rolen, Kent, Walker, Vizquel, Wagner.

Jeter is the only one elected.

Such a joke that Bonds and Clemens aren't in the HOF

McGwire too.

Half of these dipshit writers refusing to vote for them probably got jobs to cover all those years that the roided guys were chasing Maris.

Yep, they weren't the only ones doing it.

Now on the other hand, after Altuve & Bregman's responses this weekend I hope they get flipped more times than they can count.

Meh on McGwire. Great homerun hitter and drew walks, and I’m he’d be in without ped speculation, but had a stretch of mediocre seasons in the middle of his career.

It's still interesting to me that there was always that person that made sure someone wouldn't be unanimous, but the year before Jeter becomes eligible they make a reliever of all positions the first.

Not saying Rivera didn't deserve to be unanimous, but there were plenty before him that were as well that weren't. Curious that the angry man at clouds didn't keep Rivera off the ballot last year to line up Jeter as the first one.

I'm guessing something to do with public ballots.
