Ohtani needs to get out of the Los Angeles of Anaheim. Dude would be horrifying if you had to see him in a seven game series
I don't follow baseball too closely but how are thr angels so bad with ohtani and trout?

Well Ohtani pitches every fifth day, and getting a hit 3/10 times is a hall of fame type career - aka you need a lot of help on a baseball team and they have had absolutely none

WBC is fun. I hope it gets to the point where all of the best players play. Like Messi wouldn't sit out a World Cup, I'd like to see our world championship starting pitcher maybe be Max Scherzer or DeGrom and not Merril Kelley

The players that participate clearly enjoy it more than owners/the league.

I'm glad ohtani is from Japan. If he was born in this stupid country he would be playing defensive end or something

Lost in the rightful marveling of his talents, he is genuinely just a large athletic freak. He's got olympic swimmer shoulders

My teammate from high school used that loophole to play for Italy in the last Wbc. Very strange seeing someone you played with in pony league giving up taters to miggy Cabrera

That at bat was over after trout swung and missed at the first fastball. That was going to be the only "good" pitch to hit

Anthony Volpe crushes it this spring and gets to start the season with the Yankees. Sounds fun

Last year was his 2nd year since drafted? He'd have 5 more season to go before Pirates brought him up.

Interesting and a rule change that didn't get much attention is the limit on throwing over per AB

I saw a Cruz single the other day that was hit right to where the 2nd baseman would have been before the change in shift rules.

Was reading through the replies. The average ump salary is $250k.

I bet a robot costs less and is more agreeable.
