Supposedly, once the runner crosses 1st base, you have to either tag the runner or make an appeal on the bag. My question is if he had gone to tag Brantley, would the umpire had called him out? As it is, it's not like Fried waited around and then touched the bag. He rolled over after getting stepped on and touched the bag with his foot and the glove. That's a rule that needs to be immediately edited.Brantley should be out. Fried touched the bag with his other foot. How did they not challenge that? Or it because he went past and he had to be tagged?

Savoring these last three outs. Glad these cheating pricks are getting put down at home.
Would it be too much to ask to have Altuve take one to the ribs on the way out?

Can’t really hate the braves for how they built that team. It’s not like the cubs or astros where they suppressed payroll to tank for high draft picks (like Bryant, Correa and Bergman). Braves retooled after some bad decisions, swindled fried from the padres, but otherwise, kept their star (freeman), and hit some prospect lotteries with Riley, acuna and Albies.

It's crazy bc the Braves tried to cheat, got caught, punished and still came out a couple years later on top

Well, at least the braves cheating scandal landed the pirates a prospect.
