Do you suppose Garcia is paid by the hour? He is painfully slow even though I am ffwd'ing between pitches.

Why in the hell did the Braves put Luke Jackson in again? Dude is completely broken and it was apparent earlier in the series. Idiotic coaching.

After I posted that last night, Tyler Matzek comes in and proceeds to strike out the side, including Mookie Betts on three straight fastballs. 2 IP, 4K, 17 pitches. Clutch.

Charlie's 5th straight playoffs and 3rd world series with 3 different teams in that stretch. Incredible

Tweet got me thinking: is there a more useless award than Silver Slugger for the pitcher's position?

It’s only been six years since the Pirates gave up on Morton? Feels like decades.

I don't remember but did they let him go because his salary would have been too high? Or based on performance?

A couple of firsts tonite -- Soler is the first player EVER to hit a leadoff HR in the top of the 1st in Game 1 of a World Series. The Braves are the first team to score in the first 3 innings of a World Series.

Ugh, Morton hurt. Bullpen game in Game 1 of a World Series is a bad scenario. Can't afford to lose him, only two other legit starters.

Was that ball corkscrewed? I don't think I've ever seen an infielder play a ball like that.
