Agree with your point. Savannah Bananas is an awesome name though. I really enjoy minor league baseball's collective decision to lean into the lunacy.

almost definitely wearing wires.

So they were cheating with the trash cans and teams got suspicious, but they never faced repurcussions. Are we to believe that they stopped cheating? Or that they got better at it?

I saw in the twitter thread that some point showed that Kershaw struck out altuve on a swinging slider.

But that pitch might be the most glaring of them all. It was a hanging slider, slightly above the belt. It was a really bad pitch and the type of pitch that gets deposited into the seats. But altuve swing right through it, probably because he wasn't expecting such a juicy pitch

Not playing 162 would be a better move. I propose dumping Interleague play (20 games) for a season OR get really radical with it and completely re-align into a Western League and Eastern League, both with a DH, 30 man rosters, less days off, and scheduled double headers. Cuts down on travel, less concern about player fatigue due to the expanded rosters, and DH means games should move more quickly when we’re not pinch hitting for scrub ass pitchers.
