It looks like the hitter was chirping the pitcher, but man, you can't tackle someone for that. Yikes.

Passan was on the TK Show and said that the Japanese pitcher that was pulled from possibly his second straight game, Roku Sasaki, is the best pitcher in the world right now
that seems crazy on it’s surface but Passan knows baseball more than I do. I hope he doesn’t just get gobbled up by the Dodgers or Yankees. An international draft makes a lot of sense. Let him go to y’all’s shitty Pirates

Great stuff. Kinda crazy Miggy won a ring in 2003 (his first season) and hasn't been back since. Stupid Detroit.

I was amazed to be reminded that Palmiero had 500/3000 too. The steroid thing completely overshadows his career. Dude’s legacy has already been reduced to “fun fact”

the commentators contextualize it though as an inconsistent call. if he’s called that a ball all game he can’t decide to call it a strike for SchwarbsI mean. Hernandez stinks. And good for Schwarber getting it all out there. But that pitch missed by like an eighth of an inch

also ulf’s “MLB umps are better than NHL refs” is a AlquippaPen tier take
MLB
MLB umps are really good. This is a good account if you wanna see their results. We can take a look at Hernandez's scorecard tomorrow when it's up. These guys are typically over 90% correct on 120+ calls per game, on 90+ mph pitches with mlb movement. NHL refs see a trip in front of them and don't call it because they just called one.

While his teammate Connor Joe racks up a 327/422/600/1022 slash line through the first 14 games.
