I don't read it as being satire. I thought the same when the Yankees were recently in Pgh. Who plays like crap in their mid 30's then has one of his best seasons in his late 30's?

This is baseball, where there’s always people who go on hot streaks. If he keeps it up for the season, sure, it’s weird, but he’ll most likely regress to his mean.

Perhaps I'm the outlier but I always thought they had it backwards and should do the derby in their own uni and wear a National or American jersey for the ASG
