Ugh, Morton hurt. Bullpen game in Game 1 of a World Series is a bad scenario. Can't afford to lose him, only two other legit starters.
Fracture in the fibula off that comebacker. He done.

I saw one world series game in person in '79. Game 5 that Jim Rooker started. 7-1 Bucs win.

Yeah, the games are utterly unwatchable.

Yeah, I was checking the score after the Pens game. 3rd inning at 9:40 or something last night. Not great for the future generation of ball players.

it's tough to stay up and watch past Midnight when you have to be at work at 7:00AM.

Well there's part of your problem, or about 5-6% of it.
Some factors inherent to the postseason necessarily increase game length: Commercial breaks are 50 seconds longer in the postseason than the regular season, which adds about 14 minutes to a game

they had to find a way to pay for all those ski goggles and all that champagne used to celebrate winning every. single. round.

That Houston stadium is like the modern day Polo Grounds in left field (279 feet).

It's available to play in some of the MLB The Show video games. It's pretty wild.

The official game times seem lower than actual. Is this because the broadcast starts at 8 and first pitch is way later?

Game 1: 4:06
Game 2: 3:11

Also 4 hours... I'm not spending 1/6th of my day or damn near 1/4 of my waking day watching this product.

Altuve has the second most postseason HRs ever, George Springer has the fifth most and Carlos Correa has the seventh most

And who's to say they aren't cheating this year, just in a less noticeable way?
