tangential towards the defunct thread: millennium field in BP was my back yard growing up. It was all trees at that point, and we used to go on hikes to cool springs to hit some golf balls. Would also hit up Oasis to scour the CD racks. Of course a trip to cool springs wasn't complete without a stop at Hills for a slushie. What's next? Are they gonna turn the stadium lights out at 11:00 on school nights so they don't disrupt kids' sleep schedules like its a game at millineum effing field in bethel park?I'd rather it end in a tie than watch this little league horse ****

Interesting, that Millennium Park was built after I left the area.

Yep, its namesake is related to its build date. I moved from that part of BP around 1993Interesting, that Millennium Park was built after I left the area.

He was on Dan Patrick last week and said that he apologized to Sandy after hitting a home run off him.

Looks like the Jays will not be allowed to play their home games in Toronto, due to the inability to protect Canadians from COVID-19.
Nothing is finalized yet, but they probably will play in Buffalo at the Bisons Field. Dunedin, FL is out because of the high number of cases in Florida.

Watching the Yankees-Mets exhibition and CB Bucknor is ready for the season to start. He kicked a pretty simple call at first that replay corrected. How do some of these umpires still have jobs?

Astros players would be wise to wear body armor this season.

watching Marlins v Braves play in an empty stadium. it reminds me of watching Braves games in the 80s or Montreal Expos games well, anytime.
