I'm surprised that the teams didn't mandate their use - you can plaster sponsorships all over those. And they would get used 5-6+ times a game these days lol.

I really want the Rays to win. But I think who comes out of the NL is going to win it all.

He's only 34 years old. I feel like old age has to have some effect on judgment/seeing fast pitches etc.

Hopefully Brian Snitker has Derek Shelton on speed dial so Shelton can give him some tips on how to manage a game that is a hopeless blowout.

Play your shortstop in center and start as many quad A journeymen as possible?

Excellent. Astros fans have become so insufferable. It's like they are being persecuted.

I'm having a real difficult time not going apeshit on all the national writers who seem to have a chub for altuve's successes. Yo - F that guy.

I forgot Dusty Baker was the Astros manager. That somehow makes them even more hatable.

After my parents got divorced, my mom dated (she was only in her mid-30s at the time). One person she dated was good friends with Dusty Baker; one game when the Giants were visiting Three Rivers, I got to go in the Giants clubhouse after the game. Very fuzzy memories but I remember Matt Williams was very nice.

I also remember asking Barry Bonds for an autograph circa 1991-92, and he was bringing McDonald's in from his car and said, and I quote, "I have to get this McDonald's inside before it gets cold".

In fairness to Bonds, McDonalds does become almost completely inedible once it loses freshness.

Dude, I've eaten nightstand mcdonalds the next morning on multiple occasions in a former life and it was outstanding.

The Rays are going to blow this series, aren't they? The Astros coming back from an 0-3 deficit would be a nice accoutrement to this sht year.

I can't believe I was rooting for the Braves last night.

Braves/Ray's World Series would be good.
