I don't think we know yet, but I'm guessing Piscotty or Grichuk and one of their top prospects not names Reyes.

We don't get to have nice things like that.Marcel Ozuna going from the Marlins to St. Louis.
What was the deal for?
And no, we don't get to have nice things like that. For the Cards (and the other franchises of their ilk) Ozuna at a projected arbitration award of $10.9 million is a steal. For the Pirates (and franchises of their ilk) it's a complete non-starter.It sounds as if young arms will make up a significant part of the return, with Bob Nightengale of USA Today tweeting the package will include multiple pitchers and a position player. Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch adds some more detail, saying the Cards “offered a pitching prospect as the centerpiece of a deal” and that an outfielder will be among the players changing hands.
Also, my buddy, who is completely fed up with the franchise at this point, informed me that the team pays $16K a week for Jeter to fly home to Tampa on the weekends. The entire situation is a joke.

Giancarlo Stanton and Marcell Ozuna didn't net a single Baseball America top-100 prospect for Derek Jeter and Co.

What did the police say when she called them?
Oh, wait.
Oh, wait.

Yeah, stupid Due Process, who has time for it!Such a well thought out and shocking response from you. What did the police say when she called them?
Oh, wait.
Read the Twitter thread. They're asking for the 1B Coach to be fired for asking for her number.
People are stupid, it's part of the reason we have a legal system. Grandstanding on Twitter is a way to try and circumvent the real legal system.

The top response on Deadspin (or the first) was from an anonymous poster stating that she knows her personally and that she has a tendency to try and grasp for fame/the spotlight often. As this is within the statute of limitations, I'll be curious to see what come of this. I'm guessing nothing. If it did happen, I wonder if she had bruises at the time?

Using a social platform to raise awareness of a failure in due process is a great use. That's not what she's doing. She's asking for attention without trying to gain real remedy. Grandstanding, yes.

You can't put the genie back in the bottle, and there is no mechanism to find out the veracity of her claim. That's the point of my position, whether you find it palatable or not.

And my point is that going to the police may not be the easiest thing for some people, especially in situations regarding local celebs and sex.
I get what you’re saying about the genie being out of the bottle. It’s a negative of our current social media society. That could still happen if she goes to police. There’s no easy way for this to be handled.

Hoffman was hardly dominant, had a lousy postseason track record, and pitched in a pitcher's ballpark. It's the longevity debate all over again. Obviously you have to be a good player to last as long as he did in the league, but c'mon.Chipper Jones, Vlad, Hoffman, and Thome elected to HOF. Missing and Edgar Martinez fall short. Clemens and Bonds make small gains.
Don’t really think Hoffman, Morris or Trammell should have been put in.
Agree on Trammell too. But, the HoF rewards long, very good careers.

Vlad was a savage before it was fashionable to call someone a savage. He didn’t win sht but he was a beast. Kenny the kangaroo still wears #27 in his honor.
