That's it

Sucks for the Mets but they have a promising rotation. Just need to add more offense

The whole Mets lineup has been trash

Cespedes
Duda
Wright with his 90 errors in games 1-2

The only ones worth a damn are Thor, Jacob, granderson, conforto

@Cbear3 Congrats on the big win. That was such a classic Mets way to go down: don't just lose. You have to also leave everyone stunned like that Capitals fan.

The Pittsburgh sportswriters are out trolling this morning about Kansas City giving up top prospects for rentals.

When McCutchen is in the last year of his contract, and the window's about to close, then go for it.

Thanks @columbia. The city's first parade in 30 years (maybe they had a Sporting KC one, but soccer doesn't count ;) ). Going to be an unbelievable week. Glad I didn't spurge on WS swag yet.

I think once bell and glasnow come up and become regulars, they need to start dealing from the system. Prospects become superfluous at a certain point when there aren't positions waiting for them at the major league level. Plus, glasnow' ceiling is too high to trade, and it's probably hard for nh to make a big trade when teams are likely asking constantly for glasnow

And people have to remember:
At the break this team was already better than last years runner-up, we traded some very valuable prospects for a pair of rentals, and still were 5 outs from elimination in the Divisional series.

Are they mentioning all the prospects Toronto, Texas, Houston and the Mets gave up?

30 miles from downtown, and we've cancelled school. Next farthest suburb out 40 miles closed also. Gonna be crazy town at the parade tomorrow.

The Nationals are hiring Dusty Baker. Rejoice. This was after they targeted Bud Black but offered him a 1-year deal which he wisely refused.

When did David Morehouse take over the Nats?

That looks like hell. I did the pens cup parade, that was bad enough. Never again for one of those things.

I should clarify that i enjoyed the parade, just sucked getting out of there.

Estimates at between 400k-500k, or roughly 1 of every 4 people in the Metro Area.

Bryce Harper has to be pleased with the dusty baker hire. He's going to get plunked even more than he's used to because of baker's shenanigans.

Terrific pic, Freddy. And old Yankee Stadium sits right across the river.
