I hope that second round pick can keep his head together. Seems like a headcase on what I've read...
Tomlin kept AB in check for how long? I'm not worried.

Yea, I think that's what has me optimistic. Will be interesting to see how it shakes out.

I'm cautiously optimistic. Obvious question mark at QB, but beyond that, it's exciting.

Even if Pickett doesn't win a starting position this season, just having a QB who can move their legs is going to be a huge asset. Add in the fact that Harris is a god damn beast, and our OL should be better... things are looking good.

Bush had a pretty encouraging rookie year, but came back from injury with the mind of a 7th grader (but worse tackling).

He embraced the tackling form that nearly killed him. Literally threw his head into things as hard as he could. He almost killed himself and did screw his team over. Dumb. Mother. ****.

Was he doing that before the injury? You'd think they would tell him to stop doing that.

How? He got paid millions to play a game. He knew his way of playing was reckless. He didn't care. He failed. He suffered, the team was left with a weakness. At best he was unprofessional, at worst he was a dumb mother ****. Either way he is enduring the direct consequences of his actions.

Odd is putting him on a pedestal for it.

I can’t argue otherwise. He continually put himself in that position, tackling leading with his head. Just dumb, period.

I mean. he's far from the only guy that tackles that way. not that it makes it alright. But, this is a weird thing to argue about so I'll just leave it at that

Shazier literally launched his head at every tackle constantly. It was a matter of time before he did what he did, and yes, to me that's a sign of stupidity, or at the very least gambling your future because that's how he got to the NFL.
