Bengals had the luxury of drafting an elite perimeter player over O-line because they have their QB1 settled for the next decade plus. Yes, you gotta protect that guy, but they had a unique opportunity with Chase.

Steelers have a ton of cap space and a ton of question marks. They first need to figure out whats going on with players under contact, particularly Tuitt and Alualu. If both are coming back, you don't need to spend really any high draft capital on the D-line. Through all these injuries, Loudermilk and Adams as well as wormley will be more than adequate backups. And i dont think you waste it on a cam successor at this point. BUT, if Alualu and/or Tuitt don't come back, you need to make it a priority in FA or in the draft

Offensive line: they need a RG and they need a center. Not sure if you can fill both in FA or in the draft, but the second rounder probably needs to be spent on one of those positions. Tackle to me is question mark: do they bring back Chuks, do they cut Banner, do they maybe move Moore to the right side, do they move Dotson to RG?

Linebackers: Cut Schobert, find a cheaper alternative that is better, which wont be hard and cross your fingers that Bush wants to play football again

Secondary: let Haden walk, sign Akhello and sign another corner in FA. Maybe bring back edmunds or find a cheaper alternative at safety

Receivers: bring back JJSS if you can at a discount, if not, find a veteran on the cheap to lead that freaking room

Quarterback: hope that one of the three drop to position 20 (Corral, Pickett, Howell) or go for Jimmy G

What do we consider “focusing” on the OL for the draft? Selecting one early? Last year they took Green and Moore in rounds 3 and 4. They obviously knew line was a concern or else they wouldn’t have selected two of them. Moore was fine, but unfortunately the man who they decided to make heir apparent to Pouncey doesn’t know how to snap a ball. The line needs boosted, but I think if DeCastro’s foot doesn’t fall off for a third time the line is immediately elevated a level.

Making Banner LT was, and is, a terrible idea. You either trust Moore to be LT of the future or try to draft a LT, but C needs to be the primary OL target. If they would have drafted Jimmy Morrissey instead of Fat Boy Punts the position would be solidified for the next decade, but they didn’t so here we are.

yea i mean, they are gonna. His dead cap is like 1.6 but will free up 6 million. Schobert getting cut will free up similar space. So they will be closer to 60 million of space even if they don't restructure anyone

I've met him a few times. Very very nice guy. It sucks that he basically didn't recover from this ACL

I almost forgot about some of these guys. Others, I can’t believe only had 1 TD pass from Ben. Would have lost that bet for sure.
