after the third guess I had the second, fourth and fifth letters green and the correct answer was the only valid word left but I couldn’t **** figure it out so I used my fourth and fifth guesses on throwaways to eliminate letters

Since NYT has acquired the game, it seems like they've been mixing in a lot of double letter words.
