An FYI, there are two lists of words for wordle: the guess list (words that are acceptable to guess) and the target list (words that are selected as the targets), and apparently the lists are very different. For instance any word that is made plural by adding an s on the end is not in the target list, but they are in the guess list.

I kind of assumed the bit about plurals but it's nice to have it confirmed. An FYI, there are two lists of words for wordle: the guess list (words that are acceptable to guess) and the target list (words that are selected as the targets), and apparently the lists are very different. I would guess that the guess list is just "all valid 5 letter english words". it's nice to know that the word list doesn't include plurals but I wonder if they removed other sorts of words.
also, how they removed the plurals...did they remove them manually or programmatically? if it's programmatic, how do you differentiate plurals from just words that end in s? I guess you can say that if a word is a four letter word plus an s, it's a plural, but what about words like "blues" which is a both a plural and a word itself?
