After my third guess, I think I sat for 15 minutes just entering letters and backing them out...got extremely lucky...

I wish you could skip letters to enter in the ones in the spot you know they go so you could visualize it a little better

Yes! My goodness trying to place known letters in slots and visualizing what's left is.....taxing.

No, but it's almost always two vowels and three common consonants.

4 today. I hate striking out on the first one even though it's still helpful.

So do you guys always start with the same word?
I've been starting with the same word and depending on how successful that is, I switch it (the more successful, the more likely I switch the next game). For example I've used "stain" to open the last two days and yesterday it had no color and today it had
two yellows for I and N
. wouldn't consider that enough success for me to switch it (also want to make use of the common letters RSTLNE as much as possible)
