Source of the post I recently suggested it would be a hilariously awesome troll move for Brew Gents to can their lagers only.

I know some people here hate the idea of flights, but can you get them there? I've never tried any of their beers, and don't have time to sit there all day sipping each one.

I like playing the game where I think I'll be good to try the current list with 6oz glasses which leads me to upgrading to the pints which leads me to upgrading to growlers and the wife driving home.

BG is a bit on the pricey side for me, but it's also the best brewery in the city, so tough to complain too much.

hazebro crowd
Can I get a clarification on that term?
Ha. Basically the craft beer equivalent of early post-dark ages blue-jersey-wearing football-turned-hockey Pens fans. Does that help?

These guys (generally male) drink nothing but hazy neipas (preferably dipas). They line up hours before said can releases. Share hazy ipas in line. Buy more hazy ipas than one could reasonably consume. Trade their hazy ipas for more hazy ipas and rave about "juiciness" of all of their hazy ipas. They've never heard of a saison or english bitter and think that a "sour" is a "berliner weisse" or "gose" with hundreds of pounds of fruit that pours like said fruit puree.

Haha, I must be too busy playing secret Hitler to notice these people (probably another advantage of me usually hitting up the Saturday afternoon time slot).

There’s a goose island bar in ohare. Kind of nice. Especially when you have a couple hours to kill.

If you really want to yinzify the experience stop at the triangle in ranking for a hoagie to eat w/ your beer.

Or if you want to enjoy breakfast with pittsburgh’s version of liberal coastal elites, go to square cafe

THANK YOU for the recs.

Braddock is so good. Kaizen was good but not as much of a fan. Meteor hammer is incredibly smooth. The coffee stout was tasty and not too heavy. Overgrowth was good, my wife and I both loved the CPA. We took home two small growlers but already wish I had grabbed more.

Oh, and that gyro truck is legit. One of the finest gyros I've had, great fries too.

I bought a local saison brewed with elderberry; wondering if it falls into this category. It’s a touch tart, but not sweet.

I would say not likely. Saison is definitely not a hazebro style (hopefully never will be). Also, the beer you bought is probably not in a can. That's the easiest check.

I gotta say, while Sharp Edge(s) is usually somewhat pricey, their happy hour with all drafts being half-off is pretty damn solid.
