It’s good, probably wouldn’t go out of my way to get it again but like it says, it’s like a hoppy Belgian.

I like unibroue too, I think it’s the Maudite that I really enjoyed.

Montreal has a great micro scene, a little more Euro maybe. Dieu du Ciel is also a great one, I swear I’ve seen their stuff in the states before but not recently. Their website seems to say it’s only available in Quebec so maybe they had to pull back on their distribution.

We went to Quebec in 2018 and the beer scene there was fantastic.

Picked up a 6 of Lone Pint Yellow Rose SMaSH IPA in Houston this week and it's right up there as far as IPAs I've had. 98 rating on beer advocate and deservedly. Nice clean hoppy flavor. Dig it.

Yeah that's unfortunate they don't have somewhere to hang out. Oh well, hell like it. Any recs nearby? We plan to go to Monroeville afterwards for the RV show.

Tour was pretty cool. Basic tour of the Brewery operations. The amazing part is how restored that building is. It's beautiful inside. Then they let you sample 10 different beers. Which is why you go lol. They have a 'mezzanine' level that's currently unoccupied but will be a future taproom. Sounds like the govt is holding up their permitting.

Do they have a spot for an outdoor area? I thought I saw some concerts announced for there this summer. I always thought they should repurpose the old brewery in lawrenceville as a brewpub/museum.

Yes. They actually have a distillery there as well in a separate building. They said it should be done later this year. And they are planning an outdoor amphitheater on the river behind their brewery.

I guess the brand was sold in like 2018ish? The guy founded rosebud mining. Sounds like he has deep pockets. The building is truly beautiful.

Our tour guide said he was in real estate for the owner. He said the city and many historical groups were opposed to their Lawrenceville plans. That was the initial vision but it shifted to Creighton after that.

Turners hard tea
Blockhouse chocolate
A Festbier
red Eye (an IPA)
Buzzin (I believe this was a NE IPA)
A coffee stout
Some insane beer aged in oak barrels. I think it was called heavy wait.

Cliff Forest is the owner, dude has to be close to a billionaire. He seems like a really good person. Our paths cross a few times a year through work and I've never heard one bad thing about him. His Christmas parties for rosebud are insane. He owns a lot of cool **** and is happy spending his money in a good way

Yeah I figured whoever owned it had VERY deep pockets judging by the work that went into the building. Literally sandblasted and repointing an entire (painted) red brick building. I bet there's several million just in work done there. They also said they built everything in house as far as the brewery equipment, steamfitters and boilermakers.

Found a place here that sells dancing gnome beer, so that’s cool.

Also, if you’re looking for a good PA summer beer, New Trail’s crisp lime is pretty darn good. I am pleasantly surprised.
