I may be the only person in the world that thinks Fresh Squeezed and grapefruit sculpin are overrated. They are both good, but IMO they are not $15 and $20 per sixer good.

Eddy, I'm with you. I think they're fine beers, but just not as "amazing" as some people think.

Regular Sculpin is one of my favorites though, just personally. I had a six pack of New Belgium Ranger IPA, what do you guys think of it?

I'm picking up an Alesmith IPA and a Big Bad Baptist from my buddy who came in from AZ. I'm looking foward to cracking the IPA tonight. Absolutely loved everything I've had from Alesmith (which is only the decadence and speedway stout so far).

yeah, umm...there's no such thing as recovery.

it won't be as big a deal as it would for most people since i've gladly cut out all other gluten from my life. beer is all that remains.

when i die, i might be buried with the 2 cases of BCBS in my basement, though, rather than sell it/give it away

Nice. Barney Flats is ok, not great, iirc. Still have not found fresh squeezed around here.

Yeah, I'll update it. Just haven't had a ton of time lately. Will probably just keep it over there though, since it is almost done.

I did not like the Alesmith IPA very much at all. I was glad I just tried someone else's and didn't drink it myself. Not a huge hop wallop west coast IPA fan. I thought the Alesmith was similar to Green Flash WCIPA, which I'd prefer to Alesmith.

Also, I can see Fresh Squeezed not being a favorite for everyone. I personally love it.

Lastly, I will have to try Sculpin again, but I wasn't a big fan when I had it last. I think I would like the grapefruit, though.

Makes sense.

I always like viewing the bracket, but I don't know if I'll be able to vote for the later rounds because I haven't had the beers. Still fun to look at!

My wife stopped at Wegman's on the way home to grab a sixer...she found Deschutes Fresh Squeezed and Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout. Never had either and have been dying to try them.
Fresh squeezed is fine but Barney flats is very good IMO

I stopped at the local distributor and they had cases of beer sitting on the shelf for a year marked down to $20. Most of it was ipas which I won't touch that old even if the price is good. I did grab a Founders old curmudgeon. I've never had it or that style, but for $20,why not? I read that ages well, it's from 3/1/14. Anyone ever have?

They also had a maggies terrapin peace saison, but I'm not sure about that one sitting that long...

I'm not sure how saisons age tbh. I tried that one @ last year's summer beerfest... I remember it being decent, but $20 is prob about all I'd pay for a case of it. Not sure if I'd want a full case, actually... strikes me as one of those things that might get old after you had a couple due to the prevalent peach flavor.

Old curmudgeon is excellent. It can age for years and should cost at least 60 for a case.

I just missed Founders imperial stout for $20, I'm kicking myself for that one.
