Yeah it's really a good spot and most people don't know about it. It's owned by family friends so that's how I found out about it.

Dogfish head slightly mighty... as far as 95 calorie beers are concerned, this one has to be toweard the top of the list.
DFH's Slightly Mighty and Southern Tier's Swipe Light are both solid for being lo-carb/sub-100 calorie beers.

I didn't even know this existed...interesting.

The Weis Markets in my little town of Gap now has a beautiful beer/wine cafe, very similar to Wegman's. Great selection and similar mix-a-six price of $11.99. For being as "remote" as I am I have two fantastic beer stores within five minutes of my house now.

Saw an ad for Barrel Aged Troegenator on FB the other day. I need this in my life.

Has anyone seen this in the Pittsburgh area?

Mad Mex in Robinson had it. It's a boozy version of the two hearted.

I don't hate it, but I'm still uncertain if I'd go back for another one.

Finally got to try Troeg's Nimble Giant...this stuff is gooooooood. Excellent, even. I love whenever you find pint cans of stuff like this in the $11.99 mix-a-six section at the store.

My incredible wife put together a beer Advent calendar. 24 individually wrapped beers, many of which she ordered online so she knew I haven't had them yet. I absolutely adore this woman.

First up? Stone Cold Steve Austin's Broken Skull IPA, from El Segundo in CA. This is great. I definitely prefer West Coast IPAs.

Nice. That was one of the beers I got as part of my annual exchange with my friends.

Today I had Grimm Just Intonation. This was pretty great. Real nice tart raspberry flavor.

I just bought "Born Yesterday" Pale Ale from Lagunitas brewery. Quite cheap - and very, very good!

I don't think you can get it locally...I'll ask where my wife ordered it from. It looks like she got a sixer of pint cans.

Thanks for the heads up on the Born Yesterday stuff. I'll have to try and find that at some point this week.

That's what I was afraid of.

Surprisingly, it is available on the east coast and isn't that far from you: https://www.beermenus.com/beers/115029- ... -skull-ipa

I'll either have to wait until it makes it's way across the state or look for it on my next vacation.

Day 3 of the beer Advent calendar. Horchata Stout from Pacific Plate Brewing in Monrovia, CA. The brewery describes itself as a "Small-batch microbrewery that offers a range of craft beers with Latin flavors"

I did not think I was going to like this, but it is really interesting. Nice subtle cinnamon flavor, not overpowering.

Posted up at Fuel and Fuddle before Phish. They have Founders CBS on tap.

It was a good choice.

Incredible. If you haven’t went and bought this yet, do it. This is up there with best I’ve ever had beer. Balanced and delicious.

Oh man, thank you. I was at Wegman's yesterday and forgot to look for it :face:
