It's always nice seeing Kent lose @Orlando Penguin
Led from start to finish and shot close to 60% from the field for the game -- 18 assists on 28 makes. It was a performance that I'm certainly not used to seeing out of my squad and we did it without our starting point guard. We get the Suckeyes Wednesday night and that would be pretty sweet.

That was outstanding from the 24-second mark on down. You don't just walk into the RAC and expect to come out victorious. Also, it's typical Purdue. Hope they enjoyed that #1 ranking this week and took lots of pictures.

On a side note, Fox's college hoops broadcast uses the John Tesh intro/outro. That's fantastic!

Friars finish OOC 10-1 with a few Quadrant 1 wins. Big matchup vs UConn to kick off the Big East season next Saturday, let's get it on!

Interesting March Madness data here https://bracketodds.cs.illinois.edu/seedadv.html

Along with of course 1 seeds being 143-1 in the first round:

- A 5 seed has never won. A 4 (Arizona '97, who were a Korey Wright 3 point miss away from losing to PC in Elite 8 god damn it), a 6 ('88 Kansas), a 7 ('14 UConn), and an 8 ('85 Nova of course) have all won.

- No seed 13 or higher has ever made the second weekend. No seed 12 or higher has ever made the Elite 8.

- No 9-16 seeds have ever made the Final Four.

- 8 seeds are under .500 vs 9 seeds at 71-73.

VCU and George Mason were both 11's when they went to the Final Four. I believe LSU was as well in 1986.

Florida Gulf Coast was a freakin 15 when they made the 2nd weekend in 2013.

You got some bad info on that link...or you misread it.

They have 6 times. I think @RonnieFranchise may have misinterpreted the data. The last 3 to do it were LaSalle in 2013, Ohio in 2012, and Bradley in 2006.

Interestingly enough 10 and 11 seeds win more games on average than a 9 seed. I've always had the theory in my player draft to avoid 8&9 seeds because they're DOA in round two but cool to see it's actually real. Surprised to see 8 with that much of a higher percent than 9 on the flip side though
