He’s a career .228/.282/.384 hitter in 800 games over nine seasons, with almost all of his value coming from his defense in center field, which is rated slightly below average over the last two seasons combined (-0.1 dWAR).
Am I interpreting correctly that he's so bad of a hitter that "all of his value" is still a negative number?
