That's with a limited line, no Juju, and an obviously limited QB. I know Canada isn't lighting the world on fire but he doesn't really have an arsenal of options on hand
At the very least we know if it’s 4th down he’ll call a play to throw it behind the line of scrimmage. Because obviously they’ll never see it coming.

I've been told many times that's not possible.

That said, I also don't believe the Steelers will be drafting in the bottom half of the round.

The Steelers won’t be drafting in the first round this year because they will be sending it off to another team when they trade for a veteran QB

Maybe they can trade up to replace Bush.

I don’t think he actually has poor football IQ. I just think he hates tackling, isn’t a hard worker, and just isn’t very tough as a football player

You're right, actually. And that's what makes him so hateable.

I thought he was better pre injury. Much better. I am still giving him the “he doesn’t trust his knee” treatment, but that is running real thin

I agree. I've wavered from he doesn't trust it to that he didn't work hard enough in rehab to get back to where he was

I’m not sure how good he was pre-injury to be honest. I think the only difference is he made more splash plays. But, if you remember, he was soooo bad at coverage his rookie year, which was fairly at the time chalked up to him learning how to play on the NFL

My friend and I were watching the game and we keyed on him for an entire drive and were honestly laughing after every play. He looked like a high schooler out there with how he was getting eaten up by o-linemen

It was the few games right before his injury that I thought he had finally figured something out. He was starting to play fast... really fast. Sideline to sideline, and very disruptive. He was a Shazier model LB where he didn't always make the play, but he often affected it. He was starting to beat o-linemen to the spot.

This year......woof. I guess it could be related to not trusting his knee yet, but man is he playing ssslllooowww. It also looks like he runs into blocks...on purpose...at the point of attack. It's pathetic. He looks like a deion sanders playing the run.

Guard gets to the second level with the RB trailing behind, and he's like...

I wonder how much of the poor middle linebacker play is because of the lack of depth of the D-line? Like they are being tasked with making tackles that they aren't used to?

If any offensive lineman gets hands on him, he’s absolutely done. He doesn’t even try to shrug off the block.

Ignore the Pittsburgh Dad Jr. commentary and just watch this play. He has zero interest in making a play here

I’m pretty certain that is tight end Jared Freakin Cook eating him up. That’s not a tackle. It’s a below average blocking tight end

Honestly, I hate that this rumor happened, and I'll hate it even more when it comes true. I would hope the Steelers don't give up that pick - there's plenty of vets everywhere, and busts that they could work on.

But yea, here comes Foles for his 40th team...

That play should have been dead to rights. Cam got double teamed and all Bush had to do was basically side step cook and fill the gap. But he either takes too long to diagnose or just didn’t want to fill the gap and make the tackle.

Also Devin Bush is trash, and his dad is trash too. Devin could have even reached his arms out - and he didn't. Just embarrassing - and I'd be embarrassed to be a player like that if i had the talent to make it.

I'd love a year of Andy Dalton. Not at the expense of a first-rounder, just generally.

A couple weeks ago I said I wasn't prepared to label Bush as a bust. I have since reevaluated my position and have moved considerably closer to the 'bust' camp. Like, I've arrived at Fight Club and I've already knocked on the door a couple times. He seems like he has moved into the D Haskins camp of liking being a football player a whole lot more than he likes actually playing football. I don't know if that's injury hangover or what (he looked like he was gonna be pretty good in 2019), but he needs to very quickly show that he's gotten over whatever it is that's causing him to phone it in week after week.

If that means we get a top 10 pick, then fine. There's really nobody on the re-tread market I want - and that's assuming Canada gets kicked to the curb and the Steelers actually find an NFL OC.
