He underthrew the receiver, given the adjustment Johnson had to make there.

Yea if that throw is to the sidelines and leading the receiver, Johnson is probably going all the way. Instead it’s a big gainer that almost gets the receiver killed by the safety.

Rudolph threw a similar ball to Ebron in the second quarter. He was wide open, but Mason threw a balloon and he didn't have any chance for YAC

I'm not going to complain about that ball. Johnson was going to outrun basically anyone the way he took off there.

Evidently, this was a little more heated the average camp fight. Players taking sides, Ben and Tomlin had to get both sides calmed down, etc. Unfortunately, the reporters there couldn't give any details. DK asked Tomlin about the altercation, and Tomlin said he had no idea what DK was talking about. The Steelers excised the question and response from the official interview video.

So that's not a good sign of team harmony.

Sometimes I wonder if we make a bigger deal of these shenanigans but don't realize that it does happen everywhere. But sometimes I wonder why this team employs so many children.

Fights happen all the time. I don't care about fights, but I can't say I'm not concerned about the emotional maturity of these over 20s being total douchebags on social media day in and day out.

The JuJu crate thing would be an insta game suspension, purely because of the reckless danger he put himself into for effing internet points.

I mean, in theory, I am not appalled by the notion of guys fighting. I am appalled by the notion of fighting when it involves a player that is both important, young, and kind of a d-bag (claypool) and a guy that is supposed to be a grown up in the room and an all pro type player (Minkah). I don't care if the Mondeauxs of the world scrap. I do care if the important people are engaging in fisticuffs 2 weeks prior to game 1

Well, if you want to go by DKs "opinion" piece he wrote today on what could have happened during the fight, since he isn't allowed to actually report on it, Claypool leveled Fitzpatrick during a non contact drill which pissed Fitzpatrick off. And that is whent he fight broke out. He said it looked like players took sides, mainly offense/defense split, but after things broke off, most of the team was on team Fitzpatrick, with very little teammates surrounding Claypool. He said even a former player that was there said this fight was more than your typical camp scuffle because it has happened before (the leveling of a D player during non contact drills by the same person).

Honestly, the sooner the Steelers can move on from JuJu, Claypool and Ebron, the better IMO. You need more guys, more leaders like Heyward, Fitzpatrick, etc that are more focused on the FB side.

The only true fear, is that for every year JuJu/Claypool are here - the room gets tainted further. I think they both need stellar seasons, or you cut ties and start fresh.

JuJu has about two games before I sour on him. Claypool, needs to be better than he was last year. I have low expectations for both, honestly.

Claypool is a freak of nature at WR. You keep him over JuJu every day of the week.

Both are divas but most WRs are. You hope that Claypool matures at some point. JuJu isn't as good as he thinks he is nor good enough to get away with doing the stupid social media crap he does.
