I can't remember the last time I cared less about a Steelers season. Don't think I've watched a minute this year.

I think if the Steelers stumble here and go 1-3 or have an awful division record, I legit could see Tomlin retiring or moving on.

I think how he handles these next few weeks should absolutely factor into his future more than anything he’s done in the last decade. Because they’re gonna need to rebuild.

If Tomlin leaves it would have to be his choice.

But I agree with you - writing is on the wall for a tough 3 or so years, I'd get off the sinking ship

But I agree with you - writing is on the wall for a tough 3 or so years, I'd get off the sinking ship

He doesn’t seem like he’s interested in a rebuild, and I’d be particularly interested in how he feels about this “no losing season” ****, cause I bet he’s gonna get one here.

Well I should say I don’t think he’d be a good rebuild coach, and if they’re entering a rebuild, I think I’d clean house and let a totally new regime start it.

On another note, we're watching CAR-DAL, and almost every offensive snap for the Panthers I'm like "Ben can't do that".

Hopefully you said, yep Ben does that, plenty of times in the third quarter.

I don't know why I care, I didn't even know about it until Sunday, but I really want Ben to pass Rivers on the TD list, and Marino if he can get there. This season is going down the shitter anyway, if Ben can find 20 garbage time TDs that'd be great.

Going into the year I figured they'd be sorta win one, lose one. In total I would've believed 9 wins +/- 2. Right now, if they get to 3 wins I'll be surprised. I completely underestimated the ineptitude of the O-line, and it all stars there. Nothing is doable behind these 5 bricks.

I don’t know why this isn’t talked about enough but why aren’t more people equating the ineptitude of the offensive line to the absolutely statuesque nature of the QB. These are two completely different lines that absolutely stink now.

When you have a guy that does even think about stepping up in the locked let alone bootlegging out let alone scrambling for yardage, it’s not that hard to defend. Defenses basically rush 4, wait for the pocket to slowly collapse, and then sack Ben. When you drop 7 knowing that there’s no risk of the opposing QB doing anything with his legs, it’s pretty easy to defend

Now, I’m not saying the line is good. I’m just saying they are totally handcuffed and with even a semi mobile QB, they wouldn’t look nearllllllly as bad

Ben is in the bottom-3 of QB play overall for the NFL this year. He's missing reads left and right, but the o-line is still trash, worse than last year, and are still very much one-dimensional meaning the only success the team has, is if the QB can make throws, which he isn't.
