USA 36, China 38. USA may be the favorite in W basketball (against Japan), Boxing finals 2 Americans, one Chinese. Not sure who is favorite in Women Volleyball (USA vs. Brazil finals). I don't think either country has a chance in cycling track.

Regarding medals - the "winning country" should be most golds.

I also feel very differently about individual silver/bronze medals than I do team silver/bronze, at least for the USA. If you're a top 3 individual, you're pretty bad ass. If you're the 2nd or 3rd place team, your team lost.

If your team from Botswana gets bronze though, there should be a parade
