Congratulations. It was has been a down year in general for PA sports, the Panthers are carrying the torch. Taking advantage of a down year in the ACC, and that's no intended as a slight because they are undoubtedly the best team in that conference imo.
Quick plug. The Juniata College Lady Eagles are in the DIII Final Four once again, vying for their third National Championship. Woo!

Some good reading going back in this thread to the WMU game and the couple weeks after. I can't say we were overreacting, that was so ugly. But funny how this season turned out after that. Good stuff

That was a nerve wracking but great game. Glad they pulled it off.
Let's keep pushing and get that 10th win vs Cuse this weekend before heading off to Charlotte.
I have a feeling though we will be facing Clemson. NC State is Pitt, grasp defeat out of the jaws of victory, and WF I think will lose to BC. I said 4 weeks ago they were going to lose 3 out of their last 4. They always collapse at the end of ever year.

I really don't want Clemson again. At this point, we aren't getting in the CFP so rankings don't mean much to me. I just want the easiest path to the Peach Bowl. Clemson is peaking and they'll bring 50k orange wearing woo-hoo-woo-hoo-hoo-ing fans (still can't get that out of my head from the 39 TDs they scored last time in Charlotte). Let's hope Wake can eek one W out and stumble into the game.
Also let's beat Cause up. I know I said rankings don't matter at this point but they do in terms of perception. 12-2 or 11-3 is a pretty damn impressive season. Lose that and we have a chance for a 5 loss season which would be a downer.

Agree, especially your last part. What can ruin this season is doing what Miami did a few years ago (started by our very own Pitt). Go 11-0 and end up 11-3.
This special season could end up crud if we lose these last 3 and end up 9-5, which can happen. That's why I feel it's still important to beat Cuse, and obviously win the ACC Championship.
Honestly, if we do that, and at least be respectable in the Peach bowl, win or lose, I'd call this an extremely good/special season.

Win the next two and I'll just be happy to be in the Peach Bowl to be honest. No one really remembers who wins a bowl game outside of the CFP. Unless you get curb stomped or lose 3-0 in the Sun Bowl. Just have a respectable showing like you said and it'll be gravy.

I'm torn with resting KSP or putting the pedal to the metal. Would hate to lose KSP to a stupid Orange knucklehead on Senior Day. Best case Pitt runs up the score in the first half and he sits second half.

Wow I was watching the game cast and saw UNC score with 2 min left to go up by 9. Look back and state has the ball down 2 within field goal range. 2 plays for a td, then got the onside kick

No Clemson. Good. Beating them twice in a season and being 3-2 vs Clemson in 6 years seems like something Pitt probably wouldn't do

Their WRs might do bad things to our secondary. I'm really hoping for Wake. NCST might bring a ton of fans too. Which on one hand makes it fun I suppose
