I'm watching this game for some reason...at least for a little bit.

It was almost too much effort to load up ESPN+ to watch since no local tv again for the 2nd week in a row.

In other news, Narduzzi has a history of weird (and bad) personnel decisions, but was the UMass game the first and only stop of the Bad Davis farewell tour? Dude hasn’t seen the field since in any capacity.

If you people actually CARED about Pitt and were REAL Pitt fans, you would have wasted 3 hours of prime fall weather watching this game at Heinz. You also would have saw that AJ Davis was on the sideline wearing his jersey and a pair of sweatpants. So he will be back, you just wait.

Also jake vardzel had a couple catches. That’s too bad that Dunn wasn’t able to see this gem in person.

UVA lost to Wake Thursday. GT is beating UNC 20-7 right now which kinda puts them in a prime let down spot next week. This VT game in two weeks is gonna be really important if we get through GT

I’m always happy when scrubs get to play in blowouts. I’m not a fan of them appearing on the two deep.

Fun game.

Here's what I love about games like this when following along on Twitter...

1. The Pittsburgh sports media tripping over themselves to rehash the same tired point that "Pitt Should Be Playing Penn State In Games Like This Instead of (Insert FCS Team Here) Because The Atmosphere Would Be So Much Better Instead of 25,000 People Watching (Insert FCS Team Here)". In fact, bookmark this for gameday morning on 9/24/22 when Rhode Island comes to town. For added sh!ts and giggles, that will also a week after the same media asshats will probably rip Pitt for taking a home-and-home with a MAC team because we all know that taking a home-and-home with a MAC team is absolutely something UPS would never ever do.

Between missing out on "insight" like this and whatever new slapfight appears to be going on with Madden and Dejan and whoever else, I'm glad I don't pay attention to these luminaries anymore.

2. Half of Pitt Twitter immediately posting "IT'S JUST NEW HAMPSHIRE SO PITT FANS NEED TO STOP ACTING LIKE THIS ERASES THE WMU LOSS/PITT WON THE ACC BECAUSE IT WAS JUST NEW HAMPSHIRE" when the game ended, when there were no fans that appeared to be doing this.

These are my favorite fans to watch on Twitter. These go hand-in-hand with the "BEN NEEDS TO RETIRE OR BE BENCHED THERE I SAID IT" Guy. Oh, YOU said it? Most fans didn't appear to be happy when news broke in the offseason that he was coming back, but we're sure glad YOU said it. Thanks, Maverick.

This also ended up mysteriously morphing yesterday into "NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT THIS BUT THE PENS ARE GONNA BE IN THE SAME BOAT AS THE STEELERS" Guy, which is funny because I saw at least 20 tweets from different people saying this same sort of thing around the same time. So yes, people are talking about it.
