We'll be there today.

Sitting behind the goalposts behind the Wake Forest endzone, which I wish I'd thought of/knew before I bought the tickets.

But it will be nice to see KSP destroy Sam Hartman's will to live from that vantage point. #h2p

So for those that were down here. Wtf was up with Wake fans? Everywhere I went pregame was 99% blue and gold. I was shocked when I saw it basically 50/50 in there. Made for a fun environment of course but it's like they all hid until game time.

So for those that were down here. Wtf was up with Wake fans? Everywhere I went pregame was 99% blue and gold. I was shocked when I saw it basically 50/50 in there. Made for a fun environment of course but it's like they all hid until game time.

I would assume they didn’t travel to Charlotte until game time. It’s only like a 90 minute drive

Officials did eff it up... should've blown the play dead when he initiated his slide. I was kinda shocked that they let the td count, tbh.

Having said all that...yeah, the butt hurt is hilarious. From the 'it should've been a penalty' (lolwut?!?) to 'next time he goes for a slide the defender should be allowed to legally take Pickett's head off' to 'this shows a lack of character that will affect his draft status'

Keep in mind that wake forest’s enrollment is less than Duquesne.

They had a great showing especially considering their size. It was a fun crowd and a good atmosphere

Pitt graduates almost as many students annually as Wake has enrolled in total. Plus, it's not much of a football school.

The Yinzer Diaspora is very strong in NC, VA, and SC, so you're going to have a lot show up in Charlotte. I remember a good Pitt crowd in 2018 for the title game as well.

I remember like a million Clemson fans and a few Pitt fans. Yesterday's showing seemed below that out of the water

Yeah, Clemson is a couple of hours away on I-85. Plus, tons of grads move to NC anyway. I'm thinking there were more tickets available for Pitt fans because of Wake fans apathy.

Fake slide was good. It shouldn't be allowed unless you remove the protection from sliding. Ban both or open season.

Yeah… the fake slide was super slick, and impressive. But either you need to call him down the moment he starts to fake it, or allow people to hit QBs as they enter a slide. Can’t have it both ways.

95% percent of slides take place in a different context than that play. Kenneth Shan Pickett was going full bore and is athletic enough to a. Make a legit fake slide and b. Have enough acceleration to blow by several defenders even though he slowed down significantly. He made a nice move in space. If other, less athletic QBs make that play, they either trip over their own feet or get caught by one of the defenders after a few yards. He sold the sht out of that slide at full speed and was still fast enough to outrun several guys. Not an unethical/gray play. If you can fake a slide and outrun guys, you deserve a 58 yard touchdown. Suck it.
