Kind of interesting, I guess.

I absolutely think Armstrong starts the game given the stakes. ND sacked Woolfolk 7 times, so I think Pitt should be able to get to whoever UVA lines up at QB. I'll be interested to see if UVA takes a page from UNC and keeps a blocker in to help protect the QB.

i'm like 5 days late to the UNC game commentary, but I think this offense is asking Krull to do way too much (maybe because the recievers are so banged up) and Hammond/Izzy to do too little.

Agree. I think Armstrong is going to play. The question is, will he be as effective as if he was fully healthy.

At the end of the day though, let's just win this thing so we can go into the Cuse game knowing we already have the division wrapped up. With Pitt, I don't like to take chances/rely on others. It never works.

I'll be at Heinz on Saturday, biggest game there IMO since the 2009 cincy game.

I expect a pretty good crowd. Heinz got really loud in overtime of that UNC debacle. Way louder than one would expect when there was like 20,000 people. accuweather says 50 degrees and a 4% chance of precipitation. should be good fall footbaw weather.

The students have showed up to every game (pretty much since Heather wrapped them around the endzone a few years ago), and the few fans that do show up have been far louder than in years past.

Well, certainly, if UNC on a Thursday is a big game then this must be as well. ;)

my only beef was the students was that they left en masse after sweet caroline against UNC. clearly these entitled gen z'ers do not realize that pitt always keeps it interesting in Q4

I didn't think that many left after. That's when the weather started to get a little iffy.

They've pretty much stuck around the entire game this season.

Pitt is a 13.5 pt favorite so while you yinzers may think Armstrong is playing, Vegas and the public do not

I got my bet in at that. I think Armstrong plays, and based off of the press conferences today by both coaches, it feels he is going to play. Just a matter of how healthy he will be.

If the Steelers went full homer on James Cancer they have to be considering Pickett, right?

KSP can start looking for housing in the Houston area.
